Samba De Janeiro Na Chicago
When the world’s best team comes to town, and they bring with them the world’s best player… you flat-out do not mess around. You buy two tickets in the Sam’s Army section at Soldier Field and prepare to do battle. (Or, simply the best you can against Brazil and Ronaldinho [whom we saw destroy England first hand in the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup with one sick assist and one MF’ing incredible goal, when he still wore #11].)
M.C. followed-up USA’s 4-2 (but pretty close) loss with the great suggestion of heading over to Coalfire for dinner to drown our sorrows. As Mario says: “Mamma Mia.” We’ll definitely be back. Oh yeah… we’ll get you next time Torcida do Brasil.
Bonus level: Why Ronaldinho has no last name.
