It’s been a great run, but… all good things come to an end. Tonight’s The Sopranos series finale, “Made In America” (Season 6, Episode 86), closed out a seven year stretch of “Italian Night” at Berklie HQ® on Sundays. Grazie to everyone that’s stopped-by these seasons past, perche chi mangia solo crepa solo.
Closing things out though, we weren’t really sure what to make of “Made In America.” (Tone’ lives? Tone’ dies?) M.L. and I gave the piece a “thumbs up” however, while everyone else seemed to give it a “thumbs down.” We’ll see what the coming days bring. And, no… nothing went wrong with my Comcast feed, T!

If you’ve never been to a McGee’s all-you-can-eat crawfish boil… know that watching people down them is the exact opposite of cute overload. Envision heads, shells, claws, guts and legs all swirled up in a blender and then tossed around a room.
Couple this Hurricane-fueled “banquet” with a Kings of Leon concert at Riviera Theatre later that night… and you’ve got yourself the makings of one long and painful day weekend. Berksclusive® photos and video after the jump.

This year’s Mother’s Day kicked-off at Kuma’s Corner, home of the heavy metal-est hamburgers in Chicago (and winner of TimeOut Chicago’s “Battle of the Burgers: Pub Category“). Coupled with a few Delirium Tremens (named “Best Beer in the World” in 1998 at the World Beer Championships in Chicago), and this “brunch” could do no wrong.
Closing things out on a sweeter note, Sweet Mandy B’s provided us with the sugar high none of us needed… but all of us wanted. Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!

Now, I like Krispy Kreme Doughnuts as much as the next guy (I’ll even give these new wheat doughnuts a try… time and time again). But, there’s no way I’ll like them as much as the next girl. I mean, really, are they that good?
Take a look at what was actually aired on WAGT-TV (an NBC news affiliate in Augusta, GA) this week; close-up and video after the jump. It could not have been “smiles-time” in that post-production meeting.

Pizza Party is a software package that allows you to order pizza directly from the Linux Command Line! And if you leave your door unlocked (you know, from the last time you actually got up and used it), you won’t even have to get up to answer it. Let’s integrate PayPal into future versions, for absolutely no energy expenditure.
