The Police Collar Wrigley Field

The Police at Wrigley FieldIt took The Police almost exactly twenty four years to make it back to Chicago… but make it back they did (sans 1983’s four supporting acts). I’d say we caught one and a half nights of the two night set at Wrigley Field (July 5 and 6), since Thursday we actually ventured into the “Friendly Confines” for the show and Friday we listened from up-close at Murphy’s Bleachers (a wireless hotspot, BTW).

The shows had their ups and downs (we gave them a combined B-); but I’ll let radio’s best critics, Sound Opinions®, school you on the event: the Chicago Sun-Times’ Jim DeRogatis and the Chicago Tribune’s Greg Kot. Berksclusives® await you inside (including performances of King of Pain and So Lonely).

“Just take a seat, they’re always free…”
